Since 1946 · "Nikola Tesla" Amateur Radio Club

Radio club Nikola Tesla

More than a radio club. A place where knowledge moves forward.

Since 1946, we have brought together people who see radio as more than a hobby.

About the club

Where the club stands today.

E74BYZ brings together generations of radio amateurs who share knowledge, build infrastructure and pass their experience on to new members — from a first callsign to field operation and modern digital networks.

    • Once a year

Through education and practical work the club prepares new radio amateurs — from first lessons and workshops to the exam and a personal callsign. Mentors pass on knowledge until candidates are ready for the air.

    Built to stay on air

    • DMR
    • Meshtastic
    • Čemernica

Analog and digital repeaters, Meshtastic and the Čemernica site — infrastructure the club builds and maintains so the region stays connected beyond a single station.

The direction we work in

Mission and vision

We preserve and develop amateur radio through knowledge, practical work and modern communication technologies, creating a place where new generations can learn, explore and build.

Mission

Our mission is to develop and promote amateur radio, pass on technical knowledge and create conditions for practical learning, experimentation and work with radio-communication technologies. Through training, shared projects and field activities we connect the experience of current members with new generations of radio amateurs.

Vision

Our vision is a modern and open radio club that preserves the tradition of amateur radio while following the development of new technologies. We want to be a place for gathering, learning and technical creation, and a reliable partner to the local community, educational institutions and services for which radio communications can matter.

What we do

Amateur radio in practice.

From the first contact with radio technology to field work and building our own communication infrastructure — club activities connect knowledge, experimentation and practical work.
