Workshop in ARDF (Amateur Radio Direction Finding)
One of the most interesting activities was Amateur Radio Direction Finding (ARDF), also known as "fox hunting". ARDF is a sport in which competitors use receivers to track signals in order to find hidden transmitters, often placed in hard-to-reach locations. This activity requires a combination of technical skill, speed and strategic thinking.
Ten interested participants successfully found three hidden transmitters, showing great interest, especially among the younger visitors to the festival.
Lecture on amateur radio
At 16h, a lecture and presentation were organized about amateur radio and the work of Radio klub "Nikola Tesla", where those present had the opportunity to learn more about this fascinating activity and how they can get involved.
The Outdoor Pecka Festival was an excellent opportunity to promote amateur radio and connect with the community. We look forward to future events and new adventures!
